Iris Delirium
IRIS DELIRIUM
Cool air moves through violet leaves. Beneath them, iris begins to unfold.
Iris Delirium is a bright, luminous floral with a crisp green opening and an ozonic airiness. Violet leaf gives the first impression its edge before yielding to a powdered heart, where iris and rose settle into soft, finely drawn layers.
Iris is one of perfumery’s most intriguing contradictions. The familiar powdery scent is associated with the rhizome beneath the flower—the orris—which develops its aromatic character through drying and ageing. Its beauty has an earthy foundation: violet-like softness, pale woods and powder held together by something quietly root-like.
Here, that character becomes the centre of the fragrance. The iris feels almost tangible, like fine powder brushed across skin, yet the cool green air around it keeps the heart open and luminous. Rose brings a gentle fullness, softening the transition from leafy freshness to the warmer textures beneath.
The name captures that gradual immersion: the way a vivid first impression draws you closer, until the powdered heart seems to fill the senses.
As it settles, sandalwood and cedarwood emerge through soft musks. Discreet leather and tobacco nuances give the drydown depth and a suttle warmth. What begins in cool air becomes something closer to skin.
